Why Lanique?

Lanique vodka comes from Lancut (pronounced “Wan-tsut”) in southeast Poland, an area of unspoilt natural beauty. The distillery was founded in 1784 by Princess Lubomirska, and it is here where Pierre Smirnoff learnt his trade. The distillery’s vodkas gained fame throughout Europe and proved to be a great commercial success, winning numerous gold medals and securing many other awards this century.

Unfortunately, with the advent of communism in Central and Eastern Europe, the supply of vodka to bourgeois Western Europe was seriously impeded. With another upheaval after the fall of the Berlin Wall Poland’s distilleries were privatised, and Lanique became the brand name under which Lancut exports to the UK.

 Lanique has a large range of flavoured vodkas using traditional recipes and only natural ingredients. One particularly unique vodka in this range is the Rose Petal Vodka made with real rose petals. 

Lanique Rose Petal Vodka Liquer - the sensual and exotic flavour of this romantic liqueur is provided by attar of roses from the East, which is more expensive then its weight in gold. Made to a 150 year old recipe, this was a favourite drink of the titled and wealthy of Europe during the 1920’s.
Similar in flavour to Turkish delight, an ideal after dinner liqueur particularly in Polish and Middle Eastern restaurants. 70cl bottle, 39%

Lanique Prunela Plum - A sweet, not too strong, fruit flavoured vodka ideal served either as a summer or winter drink. Perfect for warming the body when mixed with hot water (Three parts Lanique Prunela Plum, one part hot water). 70cl bottle, 32%

Lanique Orange - Sweet fruit flavoured vodka is made from an ancient recipe using fresh oranges and other natural ingredients. Very similar in taste to Grand Marnier and ideal added to coffee. Orange vodka can be added to black coffee to give it more of a kick and an unforgettable aroma.                   70cl bottle, 40%

Lancut Wyborowa

Lancut Rebeka Kosher

Lancut Rebeka Orange & Rebeka Plum
